Too much absorption kills a room
Covering walls in foam gives a dull, tiring room where voices sound smothered and the bass rings on exactly as before. Easy absorption works mostly on the top end, while the problems usually sit low down, where you need depth and traps placed in corners. The result of badly distributed treatment is an unpleasant room that cost money.
Layout beats quantity
On most jobs we fit less surface than the client had planned, but in the right places: first reflection points, corners, rear wall. One treated early reflection counts for more than three square metres added at random to an already crowded wall. It is also why we will not sell panels by the square metre without seeing the room.
